Title: Internship and Career Programs Coordinator
Description: Reporting to the Executive Director of Career Development & Network Engagement, the Internship & Career Programs Coordinator supports the administration of Hartwick’s internship program and operational logistics of departmental programs and services to engage students with career exploration, planning, real world work experience and networking.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Wage range: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Administers the registration and funding process for domestic and international internships.
- Maintains internship resources, policies and procedures.
- Advises and supports students on the internship search, registration and funding process.
- Processes employer and job registration requests through our internship and job board (Handshake).
- Promotes internships and jobs through online job boards, social media, flyers, outreach tabling and at campus events.
- Coordinates student internship showcase.
- Supports employer recruitment and relations activities.
- Supports First Destination Survey administration.
- Supports student employment process and procedures.
- Coordinates departmental event and travel logistics for on-campus and off campus events
- Performs other general administrative duties as assigned, including data entry, reports and correspondence.
- Willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
- Comply with all applicable College, Federal, State, local and associational laws, rules and regulations.
- As a representative of the College, expected to comport oneself in a professional manner at all times, both on and off campus.
- Participate in major campus events, including Welcome Weekend, TrueBlue Weekend, and Commencement Weekend.
- Customer Service experience required.
- MS Office Suite and/or Google Suite experience required .
- Marketing, digital design and/or social media content development experience preferred.
- Database management experience preferred.
- Project management experience preferred.
- Ability to learn and adapt to a variety of office technology and collaboration tools such as: Microsoft Office and Google suites, video-conferencing platforms, CRM databases and digital networking applications.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills and ability to interact effectively with diverse constituents.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work as a member of a cross-functional team.
- Ability to work on-campus or remotely, with access to telephone and reliable high-speed internet for the latter contingency.
