Title: Operations Coordinator
Description: The Operations Assistant plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of Pine Lake, welcoming guests, assisting with event coordination, student housing, administrative tasks, maintenance oversight, and community engagement. This role is hands-on and collaborative, contributing to the overall success of Hartwick’s Pine Lake campus and ensuring smooth operations for daily interactions, programs and events.
Responsibilities
Wage Range: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Responsibilities
- Administrative Support: Serve as primary receptionist, handle inquiries, assist with administrative tasks, budget support, and maintain communication channels.
- Event & Rental Coordination: Manage bookings, invoicing, payments, and event logistics.
- Student Housing: Coordinate with Residential Life on housing inventory, move-in/out scheduling, and residency expectations.
- Maintenance Oversight: Schedule and monitor facility upkeep, including snow removal, painting, and trail maintenance.
- Social Media & Outreach: Update platforms, promote events, and foster community engagement.
- Facility & Program Support: Assist with planning and running events, workshops, and educational programs.
- Community Engagement: Build partnerships, represent Pine Lake at Hartwick events, and enhance visibility.
- Flexible & Collaborative Work: Support evening/weekend programs, assist across roles, and contribute to sustainability.
- Mentorship & Leadership: Guide student Outdoor Leaders in their development.
- Meetings & On-Call Support: Attend staff and stakeholder meetings, provide emergency assistance, and cover the welcome desk as needed.
- As a representative of the College, expected to comport oneself in a professional manner at all times, both on and off campus.
- Comply with all applicable College, Federal, State, local and associational laws, rules and regulations.
- Participate in significant campus activities including Welcome Weekend, True Blue Weekend, and Commencement Weekend.
- CPR/AED and Basic First Aid
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience in event management or administrative roles.
- Commitment to sustainability, teamwork, and hands-on problem-solving.
- Occasionally required to life and/or move 50 pounds.
