Title: Office of Academic Affairs Administrative Coordinator: Physical & Life Sciences and School of Nursing
Description: The Physical & Life Sciences and Nursing Administrative Coordinator provides essential administrative and programmatic support to the Office of Academic Affairs and the School of Nursing. This position is central to maintaining accurate student records, facilitating communication across the Division of Physical & Life Sciences, supporting faculty, assisting with academic scheduling, and coordinating nursing-specific events. The Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring efficient daily operations and a high standard of service to students, faculty, and external partners. This person works closely with the Department Chair for Nursing and the Division Chair for Physical and Life Sciences, while reporting directly to the Executive Assistant to the Vice President for Academic Affairs/Provost.
Responsibilities:
Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required during peak times or major events. Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable through the College.
Wage Range: $20.00-$23.00

Responsibilities:
- Assist with financial requests, order processing and purchasing
- Reception – answer telephone calls, general inquiries, greet visitors
- Prepare correspondence including program review and accreditation materials
- Maintain files, electronic and hard copy – including student records
- Coordinate events including reservations, refreshments, and event materials – Pinning, Recognition Reception, etc.
- Provide assistance with Human Resources paperwork as required
- Support grants
- Schedule appointments for office administrators
- Coordinate faculty searches within these departments
- Assistant with coordination of software platforms and associated data management, update web pages
- Participate in significant campus activities including Welcome Weekend, True Blue Weekend, and Commencement Weekend
- Expected to comply with all applicable College, Federal, State, local and associational regulations
- As a representative of the College, expected to comport oneself in a professional manner at all times, both on and off campus
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and willingness to learn institutional systems (e.g., Brightspace, Slate, Banner).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
